8 days to go and it's hitting home now. My parents are getting drunk to deal with the pain. I listened to them cry together earlier without them knowing. This is going to be the most emotionally devastating thing I have ever done. I feel like I'm abandoning my family.

A 20 something walking, living, breathing contradiction with a big mouth and even bigger heart. My life is the adventure I'm on without a roadmap. I am an active duty Marine. My love life consists of a lot of tears, dog tags, and travel. Oh and I am pretty upfront and honest so if your panties easily knot...please avoid eye contact and move along.
It takes years to grow an old friend. We have been through a lot in the last 5 years.
BFF is the compass in my adventure, she helps guide me without forcing me to do anything. We have had an odd connection sense that first day when we grabbed two forks and the rest is history.

I have insecurities with my tummy. I love my body don't get me wrong, but I wish it would actually shrink when I lose weight.

Don't feel bad! You're grown, they need to accept that you leave the coop eventually! And you're doing you and what should make YOU happy, which is what they should want. I don't blame them for being sad or scared for you, because they're going to miss you and there is uncertainty in it all, but they'll be proud! Don't feel like you're abandoning them! <3 Hang in there...!
